When you absolutely have to get your mast down quick during surveillance or
under fire, our new Fast Retract System will do just that.
We placed a non attached cup of water on top of our FM20 and engaged the Fast Retract, the mast dropped in 3 seconds and did not spill a drop of water! We placed a non attached cup of water on top of our FM30 and engaged the Fast Retract, the mast dropped in 5 seconds and did not spill a drop of water! 20 Feet. ~3 seconds. (3.2 to 3.69 seconds) and at 30 Feet. ~5 seconds. (5.1 to 6.2 seconds). Changes in Payload Weight will change speed.
Very simple adjustment made in the field for adjustment to different payloads. You could adjust it to drop in less than 1-2 seconds, however that could damage a sensitive payload.
