This Helium platform blimp is designed to meet criteria that has been requested by many operators of aerial photographic equipment. This blimp has been developed through intense research of fabrics, materials and designs that are tuned to the needs of these users. The blimp is designed with state of the art components that offer optimum performance and reliability.

This blimp is made from a three-ply material consisting of a core woven ripstop nylon fabric with laminated coating of urethane on both sides. The woven core fabric provides superior strenght and the p-ply aspect of this material is excellent for helium retention.

The belly of the blimp has attach patches in various positions for attaching photo equipment and platforms. The blimp is also designed to accommodate a tether from a variety of positions.

The fins are designed for ease of assembly and set up, while retaining a good deal of rigidity for flight on moderately windy days. The fabric used for the fins is vinyl coated ripstop nylon.

The 3-Ply blimp is made from a 3-ply material consisting of a core woven ripstop nylon fabric with laminated coatings of urethane on both sides. This provides Superior strenght and is excellent for helium retention.

The fins are designed for ease of assembly and set up, while retaining a good deal of rigidity for excellent flight.

3-ply blimp material contains ripstop nylon. This material is much more durable than polyurethane. It does not stretch, so it is not possible to overfill the blimp to gain additional altitude.

The material does not seep. If you do not have a leak, it will not need additional helium (Temperature variations will expand and contract the helium. On cooler days, the blimp requires additional helium. On hotter days, helium must be released to prevent bursting.) If it is punctured, it can be repaired.

Since the material is not porous, the helium will not be diluted by outside air.

The 3-Ply Blimp's fins are 106 inches across. This means that the fins must be folded down for it to fit into a trailer. The larger fins also mean that the 3-Ply Blimp can handle higher winds.
