Tethered Balloon Wind-vane Sampler Systems

Tethered Balloon Wind-vane Sampler Systems are available for establishing the vertical extent and cross-sectional areas of downwind particulate plumes from point, line, and area sources. Systems can also be supplied to sample gaseous plumes. Global Positioning System receivers establish the locations of the Wind-vane Samplers. Set volumetric flow rates are maintained by pump systems that also record the time of sampler operations and the total volume of air sampled during a sampling operation.
